State directors’ role in CTN dissemination.

This presentation outlines the role that Single State Agency (SSA) directors can have in the Clinical Trials Network and, more specifically, in the dissemination of CTN information and findings. The Dissemination Subcommittee’s goal is to increase the adoption of research-based practices that can result in better outcomes for treatment.

Directors of state agencies for alcohol and drug treatment and prevention (SSAs) make ideal partners because they have the right kind of experience and resources. Ms. Wood also presents no-cost, low-cost, some-cost, and high-cost strategies for dissemination.
