CTN International Activities

INVEST/CTN Drug Abuse Research Fellowship

Foreign individuals work from 6 to 12 months at a CTN Node. Since 2007, 19 fellows have participated from 16 countries, including: France, Ukraine, Mexico, Kosovo, China, Australia, Chile, India, Philippines, Columbia, India, and Georgia.   • Collaboration with the Canadian Research Initiative in Substance Misuse (CRISM), which established a network in Canada using the CTN as a model

Italy

• NIDA Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

Mexico

• Established a network to conduct SUD clinical trials using the CTN as a model
• Funded by the Department of State, working with researchers from University of Miami
• Successfully completed a pilot RCT using CTN-0021; implementing other protocols

• Conduct CTN study CTN-0056-Ot: Testing and Linkage to HIV Care in China: A Cluster Randomized Trial (with Pacific Region Node)
