CTN Dissemination Initiative
(formerly the NIDA/SAMHSA Blending Initiative)
In April 2018, NIDA introduced the CTN Dissemination Initiative, building on the previously-named NIDA/SAMHSA Blending Initiative. The CTN Dissemination Initiative incorporates collaboration between clinicians, scientists, and experienced trainers. It three components facilitate the adoption of research-based interventions into front-line clinical settings: Products and Materials; Meetings and Conferences; and Collaborative Partnerships with professional organizations serving the addiction treatment community as well as general medical settings such as primary and emergency care.
