CTN webinar: Getting started with social media.

This 90-minute webinar, produced by the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN) Clinical Coordinating Center for CTN members and the public, begins with a “nuts and bolts” demonstration of how to set up a Facebook page and Twitter account for your organization. From there, it moves into discussions of best practices for use of these tools in research and clinical practice, as well as some of the regulatory and privacy issues involved.

The target audience is CTN members and other researchers and clinicians who are interested in learning how to use social media platforms as a research tool, best practices for recruitment and retention in research and clinical practice, and some of the regulatory and privacy issues involved.
