Prenatal Action for Taking Healthy Steps (PATHS) Toolkit (CTN-0080)

The PATHS toolkit offers evidence-based educational resources about the use of medication to treat opioid use disorder (OUD) during and after pregnancy. It is available in English and Spanish, as well as a culturally adapted version for American Indians and Alaska Natives.

EXPLORE Toolkit (CTN-0133)

The EXPLORE toolkit is a resource designed to support researchers and frontline workers addressing substance use in the Borderlands. It addresses equity, stigma, and participation barriers, promoting culturally sensitive and community-centered research practices. This toolkit is an ideal tool for clinical trials researchers and community health workers who are interested in learning more about how to engage underrepresented populations in clinical trials research in Southern New Mexico and beyond.

The Conduct of Follow-Up and Offsite Assessments in the NIDA CTN: A Toolkit for Investigators and Research Teams (CTN Executive Committee)

This PDF toolkit, published in 2012, offers best practices for follow-up and off-site procedures, including principles to follow, guidelines, and supporting materials.

Data Dashboards

Trends in Drug Use Study Dashboard (CTN-0135)

This dashboard was developed to share the results of a national survey of buprenorphine clinicians regarding problems they may have encountered when starting buprenorphine in patients who used fentanyl.

Extended-Release Injectable Buprenorphine Videos & Factsheets (Pacific NW Node)

In response to a request for more information about Brixadi™ from their Community Advisory Board, the Pacific Northwest Node invited the clinicians involved in these studies and/or with familiarity using injectables to share their real-world experiences and lessons learned as part of the June 13, 2024 UW Psychiatry & Addiction Case Conference (UW-PACC). The Node then distilled the expertise of these clinicians into six short, clinician-focused video trainings on how to use buprenorphine injectables in practice. The site also includes printable factsheets and a podcast version of the video trainings as well.
