NIDA GCP Training Update

National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network: Good Clinical Practice

The CCC is pleased to announce the launch of the updated NIDA Good Clinical Practices (GCP) Training course.

The training is an online, self-paced, 4–6-hour course providing ICH-GCP certification for clinical trials upon completion. The updated course aligns with ICH E6 (R3), reflects current CTN processes, and presents GCP concepts by drawing upon common issues faced in substance use disorder research.

The updated course launched on April 1, 2026. At that time, current users were automatically enrolled into the revised course. Going forward, new users will be automatically enrolled in the revised course upon completion of their registration.

The NIDA GCP Training has been produced and maintained by the CCC since 2005. The user base has grown considerably from 80 registered users by the end of 2006 to over 571,000 active users worldwide today.
