CTN webinar: Integrated treatment of co-occurring disorders.

This two-hour webinar, produced by the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN) Clinical Coordinating Center for CTN members and the public, discusses the prevalence of dual disorders, problems associated with dual disorders, “types” of dual disorders, relationships between psychiatric and substance use disorders, and current treatment models. The webinar also reviews the Dual Disorders Recovery Counseling (DDRC) model of integrated treatment, and its applicability to both individual and group treatment contexts. Viewers will also receive information from empirical and clinical literature, research, and quality improvement studies.

The target audience for this webinar is CTN members and other researchers and clinicians who work with patient suffering from substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.
