CTN webinar: Recruitment and retention success.

This 2-hour webinar, produced by the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN) Clinical Coordinating Center for CTN members and the public, focuses on skills and tools needed to achieve successful recruitment and retention outcomes, while acknowledging and proactively addressing the complexities involved. Viewers will learn the importance of being flexible on every level to help sites recognize the barriers and adapt to differing environments.

The webinar will cover recruiting dos and don’ts, traditional and non-traditional approaches and tools, building facility and personal rapport, bridging the gap between theory and field experience, preparing to recruit and following-up, facilitation skills, and diagnosing and addressing barriers collaboratively.

The target audience is CTN study coordinators and staff responsible for study participant recruitment and retention, or any other interested researchers or clinicians in the substance abuse field.

Presented by Laurel Hall, MS. University of Miami Miller School of Medicine (FNA Node).
