CTN webinar: Site management tools and practice workshop series.

This six-hour (three-part) webinar, produced by the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN) Clinical Coordinating Center for CTN members and the public, provides guidance on site management processes and tools developed by seasoned CTN site managers. Viewers will gain a body of tools and strategies for CTN research site management.

Session 1: The purpose of project management, roles and responsibilities, and project plan development. ( slides)

Session 2: Building communication, performance, and teams; as well as pre-study implementation checklists and tools. (slides)

Session 3: Ensuring good study performance, and avoiding “super manager syndrome” through time management and personal boundaries. (slides)

The target audience is CTN members responsible for managing NIDA CTN trial conduct and other researchers and clinicians working together in substance abuse research.
