Join the new NIDA Clinical Trials Network Special Interest Group on Substance Use Research in Non-Traditional Settings!

Led by the Southern Consortium Node, this SIG will bring together researchers and community partners interested in advancing substance use prevention, treatment, recovery, harm reduction, and implementation research in community-based settings outside of traditional specialty treatment programs.

Topics include research in:

  • recovery support programs
  • criminal justice settings
  • child and family service settings
  • street medicine and community outreach programs
  • syringe services programs
  • faith-based organizations
  • schools
  • other non-traditional settings

Meetings will feature research presentations, discussion of emerging evidence and funding opportunities, networking, and collaboration on future research initiatives.

First Meeting: Wednesday, August 19, at 2:00 p.m. ET
