CTN webinar: Study training plan development.

This two-hour webinar, produced by the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN) Clinical Coordinating Center for CTN members and the public, discusses training plan development and implementation based on role-specific competency requirements and overall good clinical practices. The workshop includes proven templates and processes used to develop and track protocol national training meetings and staff orientation efforts. Development of training plans, creating a training matrix, measuring competency, training completion documentation, and training new staff are all discussed.

The target audience is experienced CTN clinical research staff involved with developing and implementing protocol training programs and facilitating new staff orientation efforts, as well as other researchers and clinicians working in substance abuse research.
