2 events,AMERSA — the Association for Multidisciplinary Education and Research in Substance Use and Addiction — celebrates its 50th Annual Conference November 12–14, 2026 in Washington, DC. The program brings together physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, counselors, researchers, peer recovery professionals, and people with lived and living experience with plenaries on emerging drugs of concern, contingency management, cannabis and psilocybin regulation, DC/Maryland policy innovation, and the evidence on GLP-1s. Early bird registration is open through August 31. This event provides the latest scientific developments in substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders for psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and allied health professionals. The goal of the conference is to recognize emerging issues and trends in Addiction Psychiatry and be on the forefront of the diagnosis and treatment of substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. |
